Col Peter “Juice” Lee, Debbie, Caden & Stella — signed off, with gratitude
Thank you for an incredible weekend
May 28–30, 2026 • San Antonio, Texas
To everyone who flew in, drove in, raised a glass, floated a river, climbed the Taj, watched the fini-flight, told a story, or sent a note — thank you. We’ll remember every minute of it.

The Weekend Lineup

How the weekend unfolded

Thursday • May 28
✈️

Simulators & The Taj Tour

The Taj · Right after the sims
📍 The Taj, Randolph AFB

Get behind the stick one more time (virtually) and take a tour of the Taj. See what Juice has been up to all these years. Fair warning: 134 steps to the top, and it will be approximately one billion degrees until you reach the top where there's a nice breeze and a great view.

🍴

Welcome Dinner at Lee House

If you're here, the Lee family would love to have you over to our home to get that full Randolph AFB experience. Great food, great company, and plenty of stories.

Randy, the Lee family dog

Randy will greet you at our door and is VERY excited to meet you.

Friday • May 29 — The Main Event
🛫

The Final Flight

Jet tour · 0930Landing & lunch · 1100
📍 435th Fighter Training Squadron

While Colonel Lee takes to the skies one last time, guests can get up close to the jet, try on pilot gear, dig into jalapeño popcorn, and take a spin on the virtual reality simulators. A career of service, signed off in style.

🍺

Lunch in the 435th Fighter Training Squadron

Debrief over lunch in the squadron. Cold drinks, hot takes, and a few tales that may or may not be exaggerated.

🎖

Retirement Ceremony

A brief ceremony to mark the end of one era and the beginning of another for the entire Lee family. The Auger Inn is the bar downstairs in the basement of the Parr Club.

🎉

Party in the Auger Inn Bar

The party continues! Raise a glass (or several) to the Lee family's incredible career adventures together. The bar is open all night — but you're welcome to head out and explore the local area for dinner. Leftovers are also on the menu back at the Lee house, and we'd love the company if you want to hang out.

Saturday • May 30
🌊

Tubing, Golf & Gruene

Float · 10:00 AMBreakfast (optional) · 9:00 AM
📍 Texas Tubes, New Braunfels TX

We'll meet at Texas Tubes at 10:00 AM to float down the Comal River — plan on 3–4 hours on the water. Want to fuel up first? Join us for breakfast at WorldMark New Braunfels at 9:00 AM. Texas Tubes provides a tube and shuttle for $25 — discounts for military ID holders, and for paying in cash. Parking is free at the rental lot if there's room, otherwise up to $20 for the day.

Container & Cooler Rules

  • No disposable containers — reusable only. No plastic bottles, aluminum cans, food wrappers, or cardboard. Stanley / RTIC / Yeti / Hydroflask are fine.
  • No glass or styrofoam — strictly prohibited.
  • One cooler per person — 30 quarts or smaller, with a clasp or locking lid to prevent spills.
  • Alcohol — allowed on the water, but open containers and drinking are illegal in city parks.
